If yoga is not your thing, don’t let that intimidate you. This massage is for anybody and every body. In no way are you asked to perform yoga poses or do anything uncomfortable for your body. In fact, you are asked to remain completely passive in order to move at your body’s full potential with respect to your own boundaries.

Thai Massage is an ancient practice that uses the whole body to relieve stress, muscle soreness, to stretch and to take you to a place of blissful comfort. The massage is intended to be used therapeutically to support each system in the body, including, but not limited to: the lymphatic system, the nervous system, the respiratory system, the skeletal system and more.

The entire massage is performed on a specialized mat on the floor while Sonia uses compression, acupressure, stretching, tapping, rocking and massage to move you into that feeling of restoration. All she asks of you is that you allow her to do the work for you and that you take this time to fully relax and enjoy the process.

After the massage, it is recommended that you take time for yourself to have a salt bath. Your body may feel like it has been in a vigorous yoga class and you may feel like you need to rest. Take time for yourself to do this and continue to enjoy the after-effects of this luxurious massage.
